(BCN) -- Drivers on Highway 101 in Marin County should expect overnight lane and ramp closures this week as crews continue road maintenance work, Caltrans said.
Caltrans will close various northbound and southbound lanes from Monday through the morning of Saturday. The lane closures are scheduled from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. the following morning.
The work is part of a Capital Preventive Maintenance project that includes paving and permanent pavement striping, according to a Caltrans traffic advisory on Sunday.
Several highway ramps are also scheduled to close during the week. The northbound Highway 101 off-ramp to Industrial Way will close from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m., while the on-ramp from Industrial Way will close from 10 p.m. to 7 a.m.
The northbound off-ramp to Sir Francis Drake Boulevard is scheduled to close from 11 p.m. to 6 a.m. The off-ramps to Second Street and North San Pedro Road will close from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. The northbound on-ramp from Lincoln/Villa Avenue will close from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. The southbound off-ramp to Francisco Boulevard will close from midnight to 4 a.m.
Caltrans has outlined detours for affected drivers, including alternate routes near Redwood Highway, Lincoln/Villa Avenue and North San Pedro Road.
Bus stops along the affected ramps may also be impacted, the agency said. Drivers are advised to plan ahead and check traffic conditions before traveling.
